Career testing helps you find careers that would work well for you using a series of psychometric tests. Some tests require you to take several smaller exams while others base their results on just one test. These psychometric tests can evaluate everything from personality to motivation or reasoning skills. These tests attempt to quantify things that are not concrete. Your answers to simple questions will be transformed into specific data. These tests need to be objective in order to be effective. There are three requirements for a test to be objective: method of standardization, internal reliability and validity.

A test must be able to produce internal reliability. This means that the results produced need to be consistent.
